A BIT ABOUT ME
Like most singers, I've been singing since a very young age and my younger years were full of wonderful music. As a teen, I was heavily involved in the music and theater programs at my church and high school in New Jersey. I performed leads in musicals, was the soloist in many concerts, and I participated in All State and All Eastern choruses. My love for singing and music led me to pursue a Bachelors and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
As a versatile performer of opera, oratorio, theater, and musical theater, I have enjoyed roles such as Pamina in The Magic Flute, Mercedes in Carmen, The Second Lady in The Magic Flute, Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Laurie in Oklahoma!, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest and Blanche Ingram in Jane Eyre. I was an apprentice with the Opera Theatre of St. Louis and a member of the Portland Opera Chorus in Portland, OR. In addition, I have appeared as the soloist for concerts and have performed in recitals and concerts, such as one celebrating the music of Leonard Bernstein for his 100th birthday.

In addition to teaching, I have served as the music director for multiple school and community musical theater productions and have directed choirs. I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and I served on the board of NATS-Boston for 7 years, including 2 years as president and 3 years running the Festival Auditions.
